How does a web site work?
Websites are an easy way to target certain people who may be looking for your services. A website is created using a certain code that website browsers can read. We then "park" your site on Hosting company servers so everyone can view them by typing in your domain name (www.yourcompany.com)

What do I need to get my site up and going?
You will need information on your company. If you have brochures or flyers, Web Tech will create a test web site (http://www.wtwebs.com/yourcompany) from them, that we will work from. Once the test site is finished, we will publish to your domain name. All graphics used by Web Tech are stock and non-copyright or of course, you can use your own.

Do you take credit cards?
Certainly! We accept VISA and Mastercard and would be happy to charge your monthly hosting fee to your credit card each month.

I have my website, now what?
Good question. Just publishing your web site isn't enough. Online and offline marketing is important to keep your site fresh and alive. Web Tech Services provides FREE search engine submission to all it's hosting customers. We create sitemaps from Google to list all of the pages of your website. Keep your site fresh by updating regularly. Web Tech Services provides free minor updates to its hosting customers also. Email us for a proposal or call 309-699-9327.

How can I keep up to date on new website programs and technology?
You can visit Web Tech Tips section on this website. Not only do we provide information on what is happening at WTS, but we will give you the latest ideas and answer any website or computer questions that might be of interest.

My computer is running slow. Can you help?
Yes, Web Tech Services can diagnose your computer and give you a quote on upgrading or simply cleaning viruses or adware.

Do you sell computers?
Yes, we are one of the few places in town where you can purchase a new computer with Windows XP (not VISTA). We can also custom build computers to your specifications. Need to upgrade? You may be able to trade in your old system for discounts on a new one. Stop by our store for details.

We also sell refurbished computers. It's a great way to keep the kids off your computer. Purchase a used one for them.

Do you make housecalls?
We do make housecalls, although it is a little more expensive than bringing your computer in. We charge a flat hourly rate. We can also provide remote service to your system. Stay in the comfort of your home and let Web Tech work on your system remotely.
